Sound Design for Theatre
My goal as a theatre artist is to create moving, honest, and thought-provoking theatre, in which all elements of the production serve to explore the themes and messages within a text. Sound design can be used to enhance the emotional journey of the characters, create atmosphere, specify locations, set the tone of a play, and guide audiences through the action.
I am guided by the principles of Collaboration, Inclusivity, Social Justice, Physical and emotional safety of actors, crew, designers, and staff, and Integrity to the story.
